Having not competed at Circuit de Le Sarthe as a brand/factory since 1999, Mercedes now has a chance to rekindle their hate/love relationship with the famous French circuit. With only two teams that can be made to run a car each, a choice of which teams have to be made. Two of the most well known Mercedes-AMG customer teams, Haupt Racing Team and Getspeed Performance, which could be seen as the top choices. To commemorate the comeback, a all-silver paint scheme, as like the famous Sauber-Mecedes C9 Group C cars, with both teams respective sponsors as well.
